Here's just a little something for memory's sake so that when life reverts back to 'normal' after the A's I'd be able to remember I used to have a life :D
Flesh out the details when I feel a little less lethargic towards the electronic world in general.
Since school life's been rather (understated, this one!) uneventful, I'll go straight to the fun! Here goes- What I've been up to this holiday:
- Sher-Li's Wedding! (photos probably uploaded later when my computer decides to start liking my phone) Earned my first real pay (and in a red packet too!) there; forty-seven bucks, no kidding! plus two people asking for contacts!!! i'm already starting to sound like a kid going gaga at the candy store. hahaaaa.. it's not much compared to the pros, but it's a fantastic start!
- Strings Camp. My last? Hopefully not. (on the right: guess who's the teacher?)
- International Service Learning Vietnam (Dec3-9)
Gargh these photos took quite a while to upload.. but faster than expected, really! Maybe cos it's not peak-hour yet! Haha.
- Went to Egg's place for the first time! Just two days back. Haha. This wouldn't sound like much to many, but it's been anticipated for like, what, a whole year? Hahaaa. No pics, unfortunately. Nevermind. Shall not be the last time, eh Egg? *pepper nudges egg* Lots to say, but that'll prob wait till i feel like showing a little love to my
real diary. Nevertheless, one small mention here wouldn't hurt now, would it? :D Egg told me in handwriting on a
segment of manuscript paper (if egg's reading this, pepper's glowering at you right now) that she was invited to play at a wedding in INDIA for $1000 (which currency, US? :P), all expenses paid, but had to turn it down cos her parents thought it a scam. Awwww. She even had the cheek to say, and i QUOTE, "I'm just too talented eh?.. so I suspect that since I'm $1000 poorer, you're going to treat me to lunch tmr?" Haha. For all you know, Egg, you never got more than SGD2.50 poorer because you decided to be sweet thing that you are and treat me to lunch instead! I'm warning you though, no second treat till after i make my own $11.25/hr and treat you to lunch! Hahaaaaaaaa. Sounds like another story coming up? Nah. Can't be bothered to type so much. I'd bore myself to death when i revisit this thing. IF ever.
Hmmm.. nothing else of much consequence (not even the busking at Scotts which, to my horror, Ms Teo Sui Ho turned up for), unless i count my newfound hobby? haha.. wait till i prove knitting isn't just for old hags bordering on senility!
But for now, tata, and all the best for my catching up on my mountainous piles of homework. One week to insanity!
And Happy Holidays to whoever might unsuspectingly chance upon this bit of ... er ... whatever the jargon.
PS. to my friends who bother to read here (haha hope you enjoy it, cos i haven't really been writing with an audience in mind!), I'm having some visibility problems with my tagboard and I'm sure it's got nothing to do with not wearing specs, so don't be surprised if I don't answer any open ends anytime soon! (Though I admit, Jo, I should've come ages ago to read your tag!!! :P)
Here's something i found online not-so-recently... I wouldn't call it cute, but it does make one feel warm and fuzzy on the inside!
