woohoo! just did a brain test. flattering... but dubious. just look at that last paragraph! makes one really wonder about the reliability of these tests :D

Do you use your left brain more, or your right brain?
Our brains have two hemispheres, the left and the right, which collaborate but which also have specific functions. The left hemisphere takes problems apart and analyses them. The right hemisphere is curious and innovative.

It would be ideal if the two hemispheres communicated with each other all the time, but our upbringing and our temperament can mean that we privilege information one from side of the brain over the other. The different ways we approach life may therefore be in part due to whichever side of the brain predominates.

Which side of the brain dominates with you? Left, or right? Or do you use both sides of the brain equally?

A good balance
You’ve succeeded in something very challenging: you are able to digest information from both sides of the brain at once. You use whichever side of the brain most suits the situation because both sides of the brain are permanently active and linked.
This equilibrium makes you a person who is completely anchored in reality while possessing the gifts of intuition and imagination. You view problems as a chance to reinvent your future by thinking up creative solutions. First of all you use your left brain, which helps you analyse past experience and compare it to the situation you are in. You can then decide whether to reproduce past actions.
But most of the time you prefer to forge ahead with new ventures rather than going over old ground. What’s more, your right brain allows you to multitask: for example, you might write while listening to music or read while watching television.
Your right brain provides the link to the emotions and this connection makes you a generous and empathetic person who people like to be around.
